We can offer supporting hands, practical and personal home help by covering day to day house chores include going to the shops, home cleaning, changing bed linen and general housekeeping. We support you with getting out and about, assist with travel arrangements, prescription collection and accompanying journeys to and from doctor’s appointments.
Our homecare services are adaptable and can assist with meal preparations, medication reminders, helping you organise your tablets or administering medicines with exception of needle/injection based medication.
Companionship, Social and Community Inclusion
Recent research has found that solitary seniors and the elderly have a tendency to further isolate themselves by pushing people away and not making efforts to engage with others. An elderly person who is on their own may lose their confidence, become withdrawn and lonely.
At Guardian Trust Care, we can provide companion care which can include helping you with reading or simply to have a chat and a cup of tea with. We can escort you to social events whether it be the cinema, parks, organised community gatherings, garden centres, regular coffee mornings, lunch meetings or day care centres. You can continue to be involved in the hobbies and activities that you enjoy.
You may wish to combine some practical home help with our Personal Care services as it is often that both are needed. A combination of our Home Help Services, Personal & Direct Care is recommended, as both are often needed.
